BE THE VOTE: Things You Need To Know When Preparing For Election Day 2020


For the past 4 years, a lot of troubling things have been happening in our country. We are currently in a crisis, as the global pandemic has been mishandled by the leadership that currently occupies the White House and many other areas of our democracy are failing. This #ElectionSeason, we need everyone mobilized and ready to exercise their right to vote.

Here is some very important information about voting safely in the state of Georgia, finding your polling place, requesting an absentee ballot, and more. Be sure to check your registration status as well, so you don't run into any problems at the polls!


VOTER REGISTRATION is very important! If you are not already registered, GA voters can go here to do so. All others can go through this link to register in your state. Please be mindful of when voter registration ends in your state--for Georgia, the deadline is October 5th.


EARLY VOTING begins October 12th and ends October 30th. Be sure to check your polling place and make a plan for safely voting in person. Here is a link to some healthy voting tips in the state of Georgia.


If you are planning on voting by ABSENTEE BALLOT, please be sure to request your ballot as soon as possible. The deadline for requesting in the state of Georgia is October 30th. The deadline for submission by mail AND submission in person is November 3rd. GA voters, please go here to get your ballot.
